Tissot Seastar 1000 Powermatic 80
316L steel body design
Currently, 316L stainless steel is one of the most widely used for the design of the case and strap of the highest quality watches.
All models in the Tissot Seastar 1000 Powermatic 80 collection use this type of material, although in terms of the strap it varies in some cases with the rubber options designed for those who will use the diving watch.
This case has a total diameter of 43 mm, counting on the frame, which, as usual with diving watches, is quite thick and has a numbering every 10 minutes, but does not offer very specific characteristics or accurate.
This panel is ceramic, with numbers and indexes engraved on it in silver colors, which in most cases provides a good contrast with the back of the box. The specified panel is rotating in one direction.
This panel features a dark photoluminescent bright grain at 12 o'clock.
The steel housing protects the screw crown and is quite bulky. At the top, located at the index 3 hours, protrude two protrusions that protect nearly 2/3 of the crown, which significantly reduces the chances of hitting this part and peeling off the screw.
For to finish, the upper part of the case is polished and the back is simply brushed, something quite common with this type of watch.
Something interesting for the back of the box is that you cánido see the automatic movement of the Powermatic 80 through the viewing window.
In addition, there we find interesting information about the watch, such as the value of water resistance, part number, model name, case material and more.
